Download & Extract

Download the extension ZIP file above and extract it to a folder on your computer.

Open Chrome Extensions

In Google Chrome, navigate to chrome://extensions/

Enable Developer Mode

Toggle the "Developer mode" switch in the top-right corner of the extensions page.

Load Extension

Click "Load unpacked" button and select the extracted folder.

Create AuctionValues Account

Go to www.auctionvalues.com

• Click Register
• Fill out the registration form
• Use a USA location when registering

Navigate to Auction Results

Go to any auction results category page (e.g., Motorsports):

Example: www.auctionvalues.com/listings/auction-results/motorsports/151000

• Start at Page 1
• The collector overlay will automatically appear on the page

Collect Items (Step 1)

Click the Step 1: Collect Items button in the overlay

• The extension will scan all items on the current page
• Items will be listed in the overlay panel
• You'll see the count of collected items

Get Details (Step 2)

Click the Step 2: Get Details button

• The extension will open each item in the background
• Details are automatically extracted and saved
• Progress is shown at the bottom of the overlay
• You can scroll within the overlay to monitor progress

Continue to Next Page

Once Step 2 completes for the current page:

• Click the Next button
• Repeat Steps 3-4 on the new page
• Continue this process as needed

Extension Doesn't Appear

• Refresh the AuctionValues page (Ctrl+R or F5)
• Make sure you're on the correct URL (auction results page)
• Check that the extension is enabled in chrome://extensions/

Data Not Saving

• Check your internet connection
• Open browser console (F12) and look for error messages
• Reload the extension completely (remove and re-add)

Step 2 Not Working

• Make sure you ran Step 1 first
• Check if tabs are being blocked by browser settings
• Ensure pop-ups are allowed for auctionvalues.com
